We are partnering with NewTech Network. Founded in Napa, California, in 1996, New Tech is made up of 86 public schools in 16 states. Bulldog Tech will be the first such school in Silicon Valley. New Tech schools demonstrate high levels of student engagement and continued growth along several measures of academic progress. New Tech Network is a non-profit organization that initially helped high school students gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life, college, and the careers of tomorrow. They work nationwide with schools, districts, and communities to provide services and support that enable schools to implement innovative schools that promote deeper learning. Recently, New Tech Network has expanded its scope to middle school and below. Bulldog Tech will not only be the first New Tech Network School in Silicon Valley, but one of a small and growing group of middle schools who offer this kind of school. It's not like any other school.

In 2010-11, New Tech schools demonstrated high levels of student engagement and continued growth along several measures of academic progress. Results on Reading and Science achievement, college acceptance rates, and behavioral indicators point to strong performance levels among many New Tech schools.
